Item IK153, Covill #1206, BLOWN THREE PIECE MOLD INK WELL, GIII-8 Pattern, clear, Open Pontil, 2” high, sheared lip, very bold embossing, when the lip was sheared it created a small (1/4”) flake, the lip was then fire polished which “softened” the texture of the flake, sparkling perfect condition, a very nice example of this very rare inkwell, made at the Boston & Sandwich Glass Co circa 1815 to 1830,
