Item CSW20, “CHESTNUT GROVE / WHISKEY C. W.” on a large applied seal - “WHITNEY GLASS WORKS / GLASSBORO N.J. on Smooth Base, ewer form, 10 ¼” high, applied handle, sheared mouth formed into a pour spout, medium amber, very bold impression on the seal but the base embossing is weak, nicely whittled, perfect condition, extremely rare and possibly unique in perfect condition, Ed and Kathy Gray collection, from Philadelphia circa 1860 to 1870, $5,700
